In Search of Captain Grant 1986 Odessa Film Studio

 In Search of Captain Grant was filmed by Odessa Film Studio and Bulgarian Boyan Studio in 1985 and first aired in 1986. This film is an adaptation of In Search of The Castaways, or the Children of Captain Grant by Jules Verne.

The seven episodes tell the story of the quest for Captain Grant and his two sailors, who were cast away on an unknown shore. A bottle is found in the stomach of a shark. This bottle contains three messages written in three languages - English, French and German, which tell of the fate which has befallen the castaways. Lord and Lady Glenarvan, who have found the bottle, set out on their yacht the Duncan together with Captain Grant's children Mary and Robert to search for the lost captain. Many adventures await them on this perilous journey.
